O stars!
See them all
with twinkling lights.
How marvelous!
I’ll not forget
the work of the hand of God
that spread out the vast skies
adorned by flocks of His stars.

Chorus:
Shall I make the Lord God
like unto a man or what else?
Is that worthy of praise?
It’s the Lord,
Highest of all
and full of glory
!

Earth—
every day and night
travels by on time.
The light of day, pure air
sustains my body
that the Lord shaped from dust
to offer Him glory.

Chorus:
Shall I make the Lord God
like unto a man or what else?
Is that worthy of praise?
It’s the Lord,
Highest of all
and full of glory!

World—
myriad gods
born from the handiwork of men;
having eyes, sure, can’t see at all,
nose that cannot smell,
hands and feet dead like a cripple—
what, are these gods, too?

Chorus:
Shall I make the Lord God
like unto a man or what else?
Is that worthy of praise?
It’s the Lord,
Highest of all
and full of glory!

Christ the Lord
rescues this world
by taking off their sin.
His Divine Heart loves
and does not know how to change.
His Life is forever;
His Holiness eternal.

Chorus:
Shall I make the Lord God
like unto a man or what else?
Is that worthy of praise?
It’s the Lord,
Highest of all
and full of glory!
